Planet Friendly

Production:

Our T shirts, sweaters and notebooks are printed in-house in our studio.

Most of our pieces are made to order, this means that we are reducing the amount of energy, water, ink, and manpower that often is wasted by overstock. By ensuring that we keep our productions small and considered it ensures that we are not left with any unsold garments which inevitably are waste.

Fabric inks:

100% solvent-free, environmentally friendly, soft and durable water-based ink which does not include any CFCÕs, HCFCÕs, volatile solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons and, unlike other brands, it is also Phthalate free. These inks are 100% solvent-free, vegan and use GMO-free vegetable extracts.

Fabrics:

GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard label. The strictest certification for textiles made from organic fibres. GOTS tracks the entire chain of production from farm to factory: from harvesting of the cotton, weaving of fibres, assembly of items, to the final product before printing, including even the export of our clothing! It certifies that the cotton is GMO-free and is grown without the use of chemicals and is processed and dyed without using any banned toxic substances.

GOTS also ensures compliance with the labour standards of the International Labour Organisation throughout the chain of production.

Packaging:

We use tissue paper which is 100% compostable, made from FSC certified paper, using cellulose fibres and soy based inks which are not harmful to the planet. Printed with B+P illustrations. Noissue is part of the Eco-Packaging Alliance, where our orders contribute to trees planted across the world.

Our greetings cards and prints are made locally in Brighton using vegetable based inks on recycled card. The cards and prints come in Bio-film clear display bags, they are biodegradable and compostable. Made from annually renewable corn / potato starch or cellulose these bags offer a greener alternative to polypropylene, PVC etc. which are fossil fuel derived and non renewable.

Our items are posted in mail bags or card envelopes which are 100% compostable and recyclable.
